How we earn money
When you book a car through our search, our booking partner may pay us a commission. It comes from the partner’s share of the booking.
Booking through us costs you nothing extra.
What commission does not change
Commission never changes the price you pay. It never changes what our guides say either.
No hire company has paid for or approved any page on this site. Paul Holloway, who runs the site, has no ties to any hire company.
How bookings are tracked
When you click through to book, the link carries a tracking code. It tells our partner that the booking came from this site, so the commission can be paid.
The partner’s site may use cookies to do this. Its own privacy policy explains how.
Our editorial rules
- Sources, not sales pages. Our guides link to official and independent sources, never to hire firms’ sales pages.
- No price claims. We never quote a hire price as fact, because rates change with demand.
- No “cheapest” promises. We help you compare low-cost rates, but we never claim one deal is the cheapest anywhere.
- Checked facts. Every claim links to its source, and pages are rechecked when rules change.
